Leveling period is a useful feature for organisations that settle overtime during a time period.

You can setup the leveling period by choosing the start date from which the leveling period is applied from and the length in weeks.

The leveling period information is used in work shift planning to help you minimize overpay and additional costs during a leveling period.

Once the leveling period is set, you will see the leveling period in work shift planning as a red vertical line at selected dates. When adding work shifts, the application calculates possible overtime and lets you know if the employee hours are exceeding the leveling period maximum regular work hours.
